Ovvero: ex dinosauri. So che è quello che ci si aspetta da una trentenne, ma a mia discolpa posso dire di essermi appassionata ai volatili quando ancora non avevo compiuto trent’anni. Avvenne durante il Covid: non potevo fare altro che guardare fuori dalla finestra, e mi affezionai a una coppia di gazze che costruiva un nido. Adesso sono una birder.

In other words: former dinosaurs. I know this is exactly what one expects from a woman in her thirties, but in my defence I became fascinated by birds before I turned thirty. It happened during Covid: there was little to do except look out of the window, and I grew attached to a pair of magpies building a nest. I am now a birder.
